Description	:	"William E. Sales Jr., 70, St Joseph, died Friday, Aug. 14, 1992, at a local hospital. Born in St Joseph, Mr. Sales, Mr. Sales had lived in Jefferson City for four years. He moved to Sunrise Beach, Mo., in 1981, and lived there until moving back to St Joseph in 1988. Mr. Sales was a retired chief master sergeant in the Missouri Air National Guard, where he had worked for more than 30 years. Mr. Sales was a member of the First Christian Church, the Elks Lodge at Laurie, Mo., Charity Lodge No. 331, and was a Scottish Rite member of Moila Temple 40 & 8 at Sunrise Beach. He also was a member of American Legion No. 624 of Sunrise Beach and the St Joseph Military Retirees Association. Surviving: his wife, Marcie M. of the home; two stepsons, Larry D. Rice of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Thomas W. Rice of Kansas City; a daughter, Rhonda Yarnell of Clarksdale, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Marcie A. Fry of Kansas City; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Service: 1 p.m. Monday, Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, with a flag-folding service under the auspices of the Missouri Air National Guard. The body will be cremated after the service."
