Description	:	William Henry Reese William Henry Reese was born Aug. 7, 1888 to William Reese and Emma nee Loseke at Boheet, Platte County, Nebr. In 1905, he moved with his parents to the Poole community where he lived until 1960. He was married to Katie Meyers on April 22, 1914. To this union were born two sons, Carl and Walter. Mrs. Katie Reese passed away Dec. 13, 1918. He was married to Elizabeth Jochem March 3, 1920. To this union nine children were born. Mr. and Mrs. Reese retired to Ravenna in 1960. Mrs. Elizabeth Reese passed away Nov. 28, 1967 and he resided in rest homes in Kearney until his death Nov. 13, 1969, in Kearney. He was proceded in death by his wives, his parents, a son-in-law, Glen Thompson, a brother, Louis, and three sisters, Anna, Emma, and Minnie. He is survived by five sons, Carl of Iowa City, Iowa, Walter of Marshalltown, Iowa, Edward of Kearney, Everett of Lincoln, Arthur of Fairbury; six daughters, Dorothy Heinzman of Newburg, Ore.,Margaret Thompson of Iowa City, Iowa, Alice Reese of Kearney, Mrs. Eileen Metz of Woodriver, Mrs. Evelyn Kreutzer of Amherst, Mrs Loretta Kiper of Cheyenne, Wyo.; 33 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two brothers Carl of Avburn, Wash., August of Ravenna ; three sisters Mrs. Alvina Feidler of Pleasanton, Mrs. Frida Jochem of Billings, Mont., Mrs. Elsie Buchmann of Kearney, many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services were held Nov.17 at Bethlehem Lutheran Chuch at Ravenna, Nebr. The Rev. E.W.M. Brewer officiating. Burial was at St. John's Cemetery southwest of Poole, Nebr. Kearney Daily Hub
