Regiment SHELBY COUNTY MAN DIES ON BIRTHDAY Shelbyville, Mo., May 21.—Funeral services for William S. Parker, a well known citizen of Shelby county were held at the Methodist church at Kendall yesterday at 2:30, conducted by the Rev. P. M. Branic of Shelbyville. Interment was in the Kendall cemetery beside the grave of his wife. Mr. Parker was born in Maryland, May 19, 1837, and died on his 84th birthday. May 19, 1921, following a month's illness. Death resulted from kidney trouble and complications. Mr. Parker came to Missouri when a small boy and lived for forty years on a farm near Lakenan. On December 10, 1868, he was married to Miss Sarah Catherine Robbins, who died January 25, 1912. Since her death he has made his home with the children and at the time of his death was living with his daughter, Mrs. J. W. Hightower, who lives south of Hunnewell. Besides the daughter in whose home he died, three daughters, Mrs. Roy Miles of near Oakdale, Mrs. Frank Smith of Shelbina, and Mrs. R. W. O'Donnell of Shelbyville and one son, William A. Parker of Lakenan, also survive. Decedent also leaves two sisters and one brother. The Quincy Daily Herald, Saturday, May 21, 1921; Page: 2 W. S. PARKER W. S. Parker, a brother of T. R. Parker of Shelbina, died at his home south of Hunnewell, Wednesday afternoon at the age of 84 years. Mr. Parker was a native of Maryland, but had spent the greater part of his life in Shelby county. In addition to the above named brother, he is survived by four daughters, one son and two sisters, all of Shelby county. Funeral services were held at Kendall Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. H. Wood, of Canton. Burial there.
