Car attendants were Virgil Curtis and Marlin Lemonds. The following life sketch was read: Mrs. Willie L. (Henry) Nims, daughter of William Alexander and Joan Crow, was born April 6, 1885, and passed away on May 26, 1968 at the Hamburg Community Hospital. She was a pioneer resident of Mills County. She was educated in Mills County Schools, graduating from Malvern High School in 1902. She was a member of Strahan Garden Club, Strahan Methodist Church and a charter member of WSCS. She was active in and faithful to her church and Lord. On December 21, 1904 she was united in marriage to Henry L. Nims and to this union three daughters, Mrs. Vira Bayers, Mrs. Mildred Reed, and Mrs. Marvel Harriman, and two sons, Dale and Wayne were born. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Marvel and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, two sons, a sister, Mrs. Frank Churchill of Mitchell, South Dakota, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends. The Nims 64th wedding anniversary would have occured next December. She was a good wife, mother, and good neighbor to all. Malvern Leader, June 6, 1968, page 6
