Description	:	1947 LIVERS, Mrs Wiltrude, 39, wife of Rev Wallace S Livers, pastor of Unity Lutheran church of Des Moines IA, and the Livers' 3 year old son Richard, were killed Tuesday in a car-truck collision on highway 77, eight miles north of Fremont NE. Injured in the accident were Wallace LIVERS, jr, 7, whose condition in a Fremont hospital later was reported 'poor', and Margaret WHITTECAR, 5, daughter of the Rev and Mrs George R WHITTECAR of Tulsa OK, whose condition was reported as 'fair'. A fourth child in the Livers' car, Ruth WHITTECAR, 8, was not injured. Neither Rev Mr Livers nor the elder Whittecars were in the car. Mrs Livers was the daughter of A E HECKER, Hooper NE. Reports are that Mrs Livers apparently got on the soft shoulder of the highway before her car lurched back on to the highway and turned crosswise in front of a truck, the driver of which escaped injury. Funeral services for Mrs Livers and son are being held at Hooper today. Rev and Mrs Livers and family left Ponca for Des Moines in July 1944, after Rev Livers had served as pastor of the Salem Lutheran church here for over seven years.
