Description	:	From 1939 to 1945 Hatfield House was used as a militery Hospital. A small section of the grounds were used as a graveyard which is set onto the hillside up a set of very steep & winding steps, in part of the house grounds. Some of those patients are buried here. The cemetery is now complete with markers & listings of all those that rest there. One incumbrant was actually buried in the churchyard of Digswell but could no longer be maintained there hence why it is commemorated here.
