Description	:	The exact date of the formation of the Disciples of Christ Church at Romola has been lost. Services were first held in homes and schoolhouses. In 1866 a plot of ground was donated by David DeLong and a church was erected, dedicated by Rev. L. B. Hyatt. Among the original members were Brickleys, DeLongs, Manns, McCloskeys, and Packers, all early settlers. The cemetery grew around the church and fell into general use.
