Description	:	From the testimony given by Robert McClury and Benjamin F. Moore, one would assume the burial ground is close to Pilot Knob, near the Ironton/Fort Davidson area. Records I have been able to find through the LDS Church say that the burying ground is now in the northwest part of Springfield, between High and Kearney streets, west of High Street. From my own research of the plat map of 1875, in which David Potter owned a large acreage of land, I believe Charles Switzer, David Potter and his wife Elizabeth Potter, which were Charles's in-laws, are buried there. From my own research of the plat map of 1875, in which David Potter owned a large acreage of land, I believe Charles Switzer, David Potter and his wife Elizabeth Potter, which were Charles's in-laws, are buried there. The LDS description and the plat map of 1875 are very close. The plat map depicts Township 29 North, Range 22 West of the 5th Principal Meridian. In the present day, there is no evidence left that a burying ground existed, but these souls are not forgotten ~
