Knapp, died at her home in Stella at 6 o'clock a.m. Wednesday October 23, 1907, after an illness of but a few days. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. P. Peabody of Nemaha. She was born and grew to womanhood on the old home farm in Aspinwall precinct, and on November 26, 1902, was united in marriage to Eli M. Knapp, wife of Eli M. Knapp, died at her home in Stella at 6 o'clock a.m. Wednesday October 23, 1907, after an illness of but a few days. The deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. P. Peabody of Nemaha. She was born and grew to womanhood on the old home farm in Aspinwall precinct, and on November 26, 1902, was united in marriage to Eli M. Knapp. To this union a daughter was born, who is left motherless at the tender age of three years. To the bereaved husband, daughter, parents, brothers and sisters we extend heartfelt sympathy. The deceased was of a loving and cheerful disposition and a most devoted wife and daughter. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, little daughter, parents, five sisters and two brothers. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. J. W. Sapp, were held at the Christian church in Nemaha at 2 o'clock p.m. Thursday. The church was crowded and a great many could not get in. Interment was in the Nemaha cemetery. The deceased was born November 11, 1882, and was 24 years, 11 months and 12 days old at her death. Contributor: Luella Hinrichsen
