Description	:	Della Kaup, age 71 of Crofton, Nebraska, died on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at her residence in Crofton due to cancer. Funeral Services will be on Saturday, February 25, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crofton with the Rev. Joseph Broudou officiating. Burial will be at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Crofton. Visitation will be on Friday from 3-8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. all at St. Rose of Lima Church in Crofton. Active Pallbearers will be Rick Hegge, Todd, Chad, and Andy Guenther, Randy and Tim Leader. Adella M. Kaup was born on April 20, 1934 in Crofton to Fritz and Hildegarde (Steffen) Guenther. She grew up in Crofton and graduated from Crofton High School. She worked for Peoples Grocery Store in Crofton for over 20 years. She moved to Omaha around 1970 to become a parish housekeeper. Della continued that position in Albion, Osmond and then in Denver, Colorado. She married Conrad J. Kaup on August 11, 1977 in Denver, CO. She and Conrad lived in Grand Island, Nebraska from 1982 until 2002 where she also had a Day Care in her home. They moved to Crofton in 2002 because of her being diagnosed with cancer. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crofton and its Guild, Christian Mothers, and was very active in church ministry. Della is survived by her husband, Conrad of Crofton; one son Barry and his wife Heather Kaup of Littleton, Colorado; 4 sisters, Ernestine Hegge, Lois Leader, and Donna Guenther all of Crofton, Sr. Janet Guenther of Gilbert, Arizona; 2 brothers and spouses, Donavon and Beverly Guenther of Crofton, Daryl and Dorothy Guenther of Crofton. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers-in-law, Alvin Hegge and Lyle Leader.
