Read More	Albert Garfield Craig, son of Robert G. and Maude Weihler was born Jan., 17. 1901 in Deer Creek Township. Mils county, Iowa, and died May 31, 1967 in Edmondson hospital. Council Bluffs, at the age of 66 years, four months and 14 days. He grew up in the Strahan community and was educated in the Mills County rural schools. On June 24, 1931 he was united in marriage to Ruth Garst at Jonesboro, Tenn., and with his new bride he returned to Iowa and settled on their farm south of Malvern, To this union two children were born, Joyce and Roger, Albert spent the rest of his life on their farm south of Malvern until ill health forced him to retire a year ago. He loved the farm and took pride in his work. He was a member of the Spring Valley School Board and for several years. In 1963 he was baptized into the First Baptist Church at Malvern where he attended faithfully as long as his health permitted. Albert was preceded in death by his parents and one sister. Mrs. Ida Sherfery(?). He is survived by his wife Ruth and his children. Joyce at home and Roger of Loveland, Colo.; two grandchildren. Eddie and Billy; one sister. Mrs. C.M. (Lillie) Green of Union, Neb.; and one brother Gilbert of Union Gap, Wash. Funeral services were held at Mansfield Funeral Home on Saturday, June 5, at 2 p.m., the Rev. Hugh Shively, officiant. Casket bearers were Vaughn Hoover, Clyde Aistrope, Lyle Williams, Henry Miller, Duane Hemmingsen and Robert Glynn. Mrs. Vaughn Hoover. Mrs. Ben Martin and Mrs. Howard Lcokabill cared for the flowers. Music was furnished by Henry Schnoor, soloist, who sang "When the Roil is Called Up Yonder" and Beyond the Sunset." Accompanied by Horace Richardson. Mrs. William Blackburn was organist. Mrs. Paul Glynn was at the registry book. Interment was in the Malvern Cemetery. Malvern Leader June 8, 1967
