Mr. Zinck was stricken with a severe heart attack Sunday evening from which he failed to rally. Later he was employed with Ritcey Brothers Fisheries until his death. Mr. Zinck was the oldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Artemas Zinck. His mother, the former Ida Nowe-Conrad-Zinck, passed away a year ago. He is survived by his wife, the former Bessie Walters of East LaHave; daughters, Laverne (Mrs. Paul Naugler) of Upper LaHave; Irene (Mrs. Vernon Oakes) and Rita (Mrs. Chester Ross), both of Hamilton, Ontario; a sister, Jean (Mrs. Zelotes Wentzell) and a brother, Creighton, both of Riverport; six grandchildren; a half-sister, Ellen (Mrs. Otto Zinck), Rose Bay; and half-brothers, Arthur Conrad of Riverport and Jonathan Zinck of Bridgewater. Due to a faulty heating system in Trinity United Church, the funeral was held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Friday, conducted by his minister, Rev. A.F. Whiston of Trinity Church. Trinity Choir led in hymns, "Unto The Hills" and "THe Lord's My Shepherd. "The Old Rugged Cross" was sung by Mrs. Douglas Crouse, Mrs. Leon Myra, and Oscar Parks. The Canadian Legion of Lunenburg of which deceased was a member attended the funeral and conducted their burial ceremony at Shepherd's Hill Cemetery. Bearers were Comrades Theodore Hingley, Lorne Romkey, Lawrence Mossman, Karl Wamboldt, Raeburn Zwicker, and Haliburton Mossman. Thanks to Rosemary Rafuse
