Description	:	FUNERAL SERVICES FOR ALPHA MARSH Funeral services for Alpha I. Marsh were held Saturday, November 25, 1972, at 2:30 p.m. from the Sutphen Funeral Home. With Rev. R=Nadim Saikaly officiating the services. Pall bearers were Max Roberts, Dale Lewis, James Milligan, Joe Lines, K. K. Kennedy, and Jack Wright. Flower bearers were Elsie Adkins and Lucy Karleys. Wright was born in Taylor County, Iowa on July 15, 1876 and passed away at the Shady Lawn Nursing Home on November 22, 1972 at the age of 96 years, 5 months, and 7 days. She was married February 28, 1894 to Joe Marsh. Twins were born to this union, a son, Ray and a daughter, Mae. Mrs. Marsh was a life time resident of the Nodaway and Villisca area and was a member of the Villisca Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1930 and her son in 1963. She is survived by her daughter, Mae McDougall of Pomona, California, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mae of Springfield, Oregon, who is 98 years of age.
