Description	:	B. F. Wright, who has been lying at death's door for the past few weeks died Monday night at about nine o'clock at his home a short distance east of Villisca. Mr. Wright had been troubled with cancers for years, but last spring one appeared on his neck and this one caused his death after much intense suffering. Deceased was born in Kentucky, February 5, 1833, moved to Iowa in 1871, and lived on the farm where he died about 13 years. Mr. Wright had been troubled with cancers for years, but last spring one appeared on his neck and this one caused his death after much intense suffering. Deceased was born in Kentucky, February 5, 1833, moved to Iowa in 1871, and lived on the farm where he died about 13 years. He was very highly spoken of by all who knew him and he leaves a wide circle of friends to join with the relatives in mourning their loss. Deceased leaves a wife and seven children, three sons and four daughters, who located as follows, Sam and Will in Idaho, Tom at Guss, Mrs. Blosonhaler in Kansas, Mesdames J. J. Lewis and Joe March at Nodaway, and Mrs. Fred Nichols at Guss. The funeral was held from the home Wednesday forenoon, Rev. C. J. English officiating and the remains were interred in the cemetery at Guss. Villisca Review, Villisca, Iowa, Friday, January 22, 1904, page 1 When Benjamin Franklin Wright, son of Asa Samuel Wright and Matilda Johnston, was born on February 5, 1833, in Clark County, Kentucky, He married Nancy A McChristy on May 2, 1858 in Clark County, Kentucky and they had 13 children together. He then married Harriet D. Mallery on July 17, 1899 in Montgomery County, Iowa and they had one son together. He died on January 18, 1904, at the age of 70.
