Description	:	Angelina Laura Goff was the second of four daughters born to George W. Goff and Cornelia Ann Miller. Her parents divorced and her mother married Ezekiel Sanders - he was the widower of Cornelia's sister-in-law (George Goff's sister, Melissa). In the 1870 U.S. Census there was a blended family of 5 Sanders boys and 3 Goff girls. Ezekiel died in 1875, and in 1879 her mother married another Sanders brother, Bazil Coleman Sanders, in Cloud County, Kansas. On March 1, 1871, Angelina married James S. Neel in Vermillion, Indiana. Their first son, John William, was born in Vermillion, Indiana, but shortly after they began to migrate west. Their next two children were born in Fillmore, Nebraska. By 1876 the young family had homesteaded in Sibley Township, Cloud County, Kansas. Obituary Angeline Laura Neel Angeline Laura Goff was born in Vermillion county, Indiana, May 23, 1854 and died May 8th 1930 at her home in Concordia, Kans., On March 3 1871 she was married to James S. Neel, who preceeded her in death Sept., 13, 1919. To them were born eight children, six sons and two daughters; one of whom, a son, H. D. Neel died Jan. 7, 1827. Mr. and Mrs. Neel came to Cloud county, Kans., in 1876 and settled on a homestead in the Republican river north of Concordia, which is still the family property, coming to Cloud count from Fillmore county, Nebr., where they had spent a few years after leaving Indiana. Surviving their mother are these children; J. W. Neel, Oklahoma City, Mrs. G. A. Sears, Kremlin, Okla., A. C. Neel, Tecumseh, C. A. Neel, Jamestown, Kans., Mrs. E. A. Cook, Concordia; and J. F. and J. S. Neel, Chicago, Ill. Also surviving are 6 [illegible] grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Lily Parker [illegible] Clinton, Mo., several nieces and other relatives and friends. Mrs. Neel led a simple, Christian life, and will be missed in the community where she had resided for so many years. She was a member of the W. R. C. of Concordia. Funeral services were held May 10, at the residence in Concordia, and burial was made at Pleasant Hill cemetery.—Concordia, Kans., Blade-Empire, Monday, May 13.
