Description	:	Anna Dorothea Damman, 100, of rural Napoleon, OH died Monday afternoon, August 23, at her daughter's residence. She was born on July 10, 1910 to the late Fred and Dora (Eggers) Winkelman in Henry County. On February 6, 1930, she married Adolph Damman, who preceded her in death on May 14, 1986. Anna was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Township, Napoleon where she was a charter member of Ladies Aid. She was born on July 10, 1910 to the late Fred and Dora (Eggers) Winkelman in Henry County. On February 6, 1930, she married Adolph Damman, who preceded her in death on May 14, 1986. Anna was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Township, Napoleon where she was a charter member of Ladies Aid. She was a homemaker, avid quilter, Gold Star Mother, and a Gray Lady at the Henry County Hospital. She is survived by a son, Delbert (Marian) Damman, Napoleon and four daughters, Marcella (Marvin) Badenhop, Delta; Margaret (Wayne) Miller, Coldwater, OH; Diana (Roger) Grim, Holgate; Donna (Jerry) Drewes, Napoleon; 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren; 3 step great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Delora Winkelman. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Eugene Badenhop; great granddaughter, Karla Badenhop, and sisters, Helena Schweinhagen and Laura Vocke, brother, Henry Winkelman; and foster son William Noske, killed in action in World War II. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, Freedom Twp. with Pastor Stephen Niermann officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-8 p.m. at the Rodenberger Funeral Home in Napoleon and Saturday 1hour prior to the funeral at the church. The family suggests memorials to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, Hospice of Henry County, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
