Couple lived on a farm in the Amber vicinity. She was a member of Wayne Zion Lutheran church. Survivors Listed Survivors include her, husband,John; three daughters, Helen, Mrs. Vernon Meier, Monticello; Marie, Mrs. Irvin Lubben, Monticello; and Dorothy, Mrs. Ervin Stutt, Anamosa. Others include six sons, LaVerne, Center Junction; Robert, Scotch Grove; Kenneth, Langworthy; John, Solon; Merlin, Center Junction; and Allan, Monticello. Others Told Others include two two sisters, Mrs. Fred Schlienan, Independence, and Mrs. Henry Dirks, Longmont, Colo.; five brothers, Fred Otten, Sioux Falls, S. Dak.; William Otten, Center Junction; Lawrence Otten, Monticello; Clarence Otten, Scotch Grove, and Leonard Otten, Dannemora, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers in infancy.
