Willms died at the Senior home, Monticello, Friday morning, July 19, 1974, after a few weeks illness. Anna Margaret Burrack was born in Castle Grove Township, Monticello, July 17, 1886, the daughter of John and Angelina Zimmerman Burrack. She received her early education in the schools of Jones County, and was baptized Aug. 15, 1886, in the Wayne Zion Lutheran church and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at SS. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church in 1901. Anna M. Burrack and the Rev. Mr. Willms were married in SS. Peter and Paul Lutheran Church, Sept. 5, 1911. She joined her husband in serving pastorates in the Lutheran church in Wishak, N.D., from 1911 to 1918, and Wayne Zion Lutheran church from 1918 to 1938 and then to St. John Lutheran church, Vilmar, from 1938 to 1957. The couple then retired and moved to the present home in Monticello, where he died Dec. 9, 1969. Mrs. Willms is survived by a sister, Augusta Burrack, who made her home with them since 1938; a brother, the Rev. William Burrack, Waverly, and several nieces and nephews. The Willms had also made a foster home for the Rev. John Reents, Waverly, and Hannah Arhelger, who died in 1957. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Henry and Louis, and an infant brother and sister. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon, July 22, at the Wayne Zion Lutheran church with interment in Wayne Zion cemetery, Monticello. The Rev. Harold L. Naig and the Rev. Harvey O. Gilbertson officiated at the services. Casket bearers were John Burrack, Richard Burrack, Harry Gerjets, Louis Burrack, Clarence Willms and Paul Burrack.
