Burial was in the Prairie Hill cemetery with graveside services by the V.F.W. Post No. 1683. Rev. Herman A. Diers was in charge of the services. Mr. Burrack, a carpenter and building contractor here in Monticello since his marriage in 1923, was killed instantly last Wednesday when the car which he was driving crashed into another near Fort Wayne, Indiana. Authorities there said that he apparently lost control of his car. Delbert J. Wolff, 34, driver of the other car, suffered only minor injuries. Mrs. Burrack was first reported to be in serious condition in a Fort Wayne hospital, but had recovered sufficiently to be returned to Monticello, Sunday. The Burracks had left Monticello Wednesday morning for a holiday visit with their daughter and son-in-law, Rev. and Mrs. Otto Senft, of Washington, D.C. The Senfts were married last summer and this was to have been the Burracks first visit with them. Mr. Burrack was born June 12, 1893, the son of John and Anglin Zimmerman Burrack. He was baptized shortly after birth and was confirmed in St. Peter and Paul's church by Rev. Reineke A veteran of World War I, he served for 18 months in the European theater. He was married to Helen Weber at Wishek, ND.on September 19, 1923. One daughter, Lois, was born to the couple. Their home was made in Monticello since their marriage. They were members of St. Peter and Paul's church. Besides his wife and daughter, he is survived by two brothers, Henry Burrack of Hopkinton and the Rev. William Burrack of Readlyn, and two sisters, Mrs. J.P.Willms and Augusta Burrack of Greene. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. yesterday from the Goettsch funeral home and at 1:30 from the church. Pallbearers were Michael Clement, Ray Helgens, Paul Burrack, Alva Gerdes, Paul Arduser, and James Stadmueller.
