Peter's and Paul's church with the Fr. J. G. Schissel officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery here. Pallbearers were six grandsons: Florent and Henry Hotovec, Jerome and Valerian Hronek, Frank J. Stejskal and Arnold Zeman, all of this community. Mrs. Hotovec has been making her home with her daughter since the death of her husband five years ago. Antonia Vosika was born in Czechoslovakia on April 17, 1863, and came to this country while still a young lady. On July 3, 1883, she was united in marriage to John Hotovec at Fort Dodge. She moved to Pocahontas county in 1902 and has resided here since that time. Survivors include four sons and four daughters: Mrs. Wesley Hronek, Mrs. Frank Stejskal, Joe, Frank, Charles and Jerry, all of Pocahontas; Mrs. C. L. Zeman of Rolfe and Sister M. Alonzo of Chicago, Ill. A sister, Mrs. Frances Vavricka of Olivia, Minn., 34 grandchildren and 13 great grand children also survive. Two daughters preceded her in death. Relatives and friends from a distance who attended the funeral included Sister M. Alonzo and Sister M. Nazaria of Chicago, Ill. Mrs. Adolph Hotovec and son, Joe, Mrs. Joseph Vosika and daughter, Helen, Jim Custer, George Vavricka, all of Oliva, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. John Polich, Mrs. Vance Polich, Anna Stejskal, and Lela Hotovec, all of Des Moines; Duane Hotovec of Orange City and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Zeman of Ft.
