She was born Sept. 10, 1921, in Ness City, the daughter of Clemens and Amelia Seib Boos. Mrs. Herman was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society at the church. She married Lawrence C. Herman on May 14, 1946, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Topeka. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1963. Herman, of the home; two daughters, Sharon Richards, Tecumseh, and Cathy O'Connor, Topeka; two brothers, Donald Boos, Blue Springs, Mo., and Jim Boos, Mesa, Az.; two sisters, Helen Browne and Theresa Strecker, both of Topeka; nine grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. Mrs. Herman will lie in state at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, where an Altar Society Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. and a parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 Freeman, Topeka, 66616.
