He was the youngest of 12 children. He graduated from Hayden High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Jim married Jean Strecker on October 6, 1962, at Holy Name Church in Topeka. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2022, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, with rosary being prayed at 5:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
