She retired from Crosby Brothers Department Store in 1969, where she was a sales clerk. She was born Sept. 10, 1921 at Ness City, the daughter of Clemens and Amelia Seib Boos. Survivors include five sons, Ron Artzer and John Artzer, both of Topeka, Bud Artzer, Meriden, and Conrad Boos, Overbrook, Randy Boos, Groten, Conn.; a daughter, Judy Deghand, Topeka; two brothers, Donald Boos, Blue Springs, Mo., and Jame Boos, Billings, Mont.; three sisters, Barbara Herman and Helen Browne, both of Topeka, and Thresea Strecker, Chandler, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Artzer will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where an Altar Society rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. and a parish rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 N.E.
