Her death occurred Nov. 2 after an illness of several weeks. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bentley, she was born in 1879 in Randolph. The family moved to Malvern shortly thereafter and she spent her girlhood in this community, attending schools here. In 1900 she was married Walter Mulholland who preceded her in death in 1930. She is survived by their two sons, Wayne of Kindsey, Calif., and Lloyd of Sweet Home, Ore., with whom she made her home for a number of years; and five grandchildren. Of special interest in Mrs. Bentley's life was the fact that she kept in close touch with so many of her friends. A group of seven, their friendship stemming from their graduation from Malvern high school some 60 years ago, maintained a chain letter to each other for over 60 years, the group including Mrs. Henry Aistrope, Mrs. Mae Wolfe, Mrs. Kate Rickabaugh, Mrs. Bess Pease and two others.
