She was a member of the Nodaway Methodist Church Birdice was preceded in death by her father and mother; thwo sisters Esther, and Hallene; one brother, Sylvester Barker and three half-brothers, Ira, Virgil and James Kapple. Survivors include a sister, Mable Barker of Villisca; Three sister-in-laws and one brother-in-laws; nine nieces and nephews, Dorothy, (Mrs. Kenneth King), Boise, Idaho; Elaine (Mrs. Paul Decker) Spokane, Washington; James and his wife Diane Robinson, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Joanne Robinson Marshall, St. Augusta, Florida; Robert and his wife Edna Robinson, Taylor, Michigan; Joyce Barker Jenkins, Villisca, Iowa; Erma Jean (Mrs. Alan Bishop) McCalb, Illinois; Paul and his wife Judy Barker, Nodaway, Iowa, and Karen (Mrs. Floyd Gourley) Shenandoah, Iowa, and twenty great-nieces and nephews.
