Description	:	Mable Ellen Barker, daughter of Charles Ora and Emily Bull Kapple Barker, was born July 30, 1901 and passed away February 17, 1980 at the Stanton Care Center. She lived with her two sisters on the home place west of Nodaway until August 1966, at which time they moved to Villisca. She was a member of the Nodaway Methodist Church. She attended school in the Nodaway community. Survivors include a sister, Mable Barker of Villisca; Three sister-in-laws and one brother-in-laws; nine nieces and nephews, Dorothy, (Mrs. Kenneth King), Boise, Idaho; Elaine (Mrs. Paul Decker) Spokane, Washington; James and his wife Diane Robinson, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Joanne Robinson Marshall, St. Augusta, Florida; Robert and his wife Edna Robinson, Taylor, Michigan; Joyce Barker Jenkins, Villisca, Iowa; Erma Jean (Mrs. Alan Bishop) McCalb, Illinois; Paul and his wife Judy Barker, Nodaway, Iowa, and Karen (Mrs. Floyd Gourley) Shenandoah, Iowa, and twenty-one great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Nodaway, February 18, at 1:20 p.m. with Rev. Clair Kerne officiating. Interment was in the Nodaway Cemetery. Music was provided by Mrs. Neal Gray, accompanied by Mrs. Walter Gourley. Ushers were Joe Northup and Gerald Maxwell. Pallbearers were Lynn Lucas, Wayne Johnson, Marion Hendrickson, James Everett, William Forsythe, Jr. and Leslie Crowell.
