Freshwater passed away this morning at 2:15 o'clock at her home on West Kirkwood street following a stroke of paralysis. Burley Rosetta Hudgel (sic. Byrlie Rosetta Hudgel Freshwater) who was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Hudgel (sic. Joseph Clinkenbeard and Margaret Hudgel Clinkenbeard), was born in this city, May 6th, 1874, being at the time of her death 41 years, two months and seventeen days old. On September 15th, 1891, she was united in marriage to George W. Freshwater who is left to mourn her loss. The following eight children were born to them: Mrs. Ethel May Walker, Mrs. Ora Ada Holcomb, Margaret Emly (sic), Winfield Katherine, Perry George, Robert Newton, Joseph Richard, and Willard Harold who passed away January 13, 1914, at the age of two months and three days. She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ella Cook, of Sartora, Neb.; David Clinkinbeard (sic) of Mt. Pleasant; Guy Clinkenbeard and Bernie Clinkenbeard of this city, and Joseph Clinkenbeard of Oakland, California. She has been a faithful member of the Methodist church. Many friends will sympathize with the sorrowing family in the loss of a loving wife and mother. The funeral services will be held tormorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Methodist church.
