She had been in poor health the past three months. Daughter of Henry and Caroline Puelm, she was born in Braunschweig, Germany, July 24, 1865. It was there she grew to womanhood and married Adolph Kiuntke. He died some years later, and her second marriage to Robert Fahnrich took place March 3, 1899, in Stella, Germany. In 1910, Mr. and Mrs. Fahnrich and their family came to the United States, and until 18 years ago, lived on various farms in Platte and Nance counties. After their retirement, they moved to Columbus and since that time made their home at 2204 Ninth Street. Mr.Fahnrich died in October 1940. Member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, she affiliated with the Ladies Aid Society. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. H. B. Hellbusch of Valley, Mrs. Paul Nyffeler and Mrs. Albert H. Krumland, both of Columbus; Mrs. Richard Hassebrook of Neligh, and Mrs. Alfred Erdmann of Germany; a son, Walter Kiuntke of Columbus; and 15 grandchildren. A son and a daughter have preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. A. H. Guettler, pastor, will officiate. Body will lie in state at the Gass Funeral home from 1 p.m. Sunday to 10 a.m. Monday when it will be taken to the Krumland home, 2204 Ninth Street, where it will lie in state until the hour of the church service.
