Read More	Original records show the first name to be Charles. HEATH, CHARLES HAROLD HAROLD--Charles Harold Heath, son of Ira P. and Lillian A. Heath, was born near Geneva, Neb., June 2, 1896. He departed this life Monday, February 24, 1969, at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 22 days. He had been ill several weeks at the Fillmore county hospital. Harold lived all of his life on farms near Geneva. At an early age he became a member of the United Methodist church in Geneva. He graduated from Geneva high school in 1916 and taught a rural school the following year. He served in World War I and has since been a member of the Geneva American Legion and the Fillmore County W. W. I Barracks. He was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge and a faithful member of the Geneva Community Grange. December 21, 1921, he was united in marriage to Nora M. Miller of Geneva. To this union were born two children, Lowell and Marjorie. Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Helen; two brothers, Hugh and Arthur. Survivors include his wife; his son, Lowell, his wife, Jo Ann and their children Steven and Cynthia; his daughter Marjorie, her husband, Max Dowdy; and their sons, Stanley and Douglas; a sister, Evelyn, her husband, Fred Langseth of Lincoln; a brother Alvan, his wife, Phyllis; and two sisters-in-law, Lila Heath and Irene Archer; a host of nieces and nephews. Harold was a loving father and grandfather. He took great pleasure in his grandchildren and was always patient and cheerful. He was an active participant in church and community affairs. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Services were held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday, February 27, at Kritner-Farmer funeral home in Geneva. Dr. Everett Jackman of Ashland, a former pastor, and Rev. K. Orlando Lee officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Johnson provided the music. The pallbearers were Rodger Anderson, John Koehler, Warren Lefever, Donald Moravec, Dean Richards and George Schropfer. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. The Nebraska Signal March 1969
