Description	:	HEATH, NORA MABLE—Nora Mable Heath was born to Jonas Miller and Mary Titus Miller on June 7, 1898 in Chelsea township near Geneva, and passed away on July 14, 1979, at Bryan Memorial hospital in Lincoln at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 7 days. She was the youngest of 12 children. She graduated from Geneva high school in 1916. Following graduation, she taught school in Cherry and Fillmore counties. On December 21, 1921, she was married to Harold Heath. To this union was born one son and one daughter, Lowell and Marjorie. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, four brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her son, Lowell of Geneva and daughter, Marjorie, Mrs. Max Dowdy of Carleton; daughter-in-law, JoAnn Heath and son-in-law, Max Dowdy; two sisters, Miss Maude Miller of Heritage, and Mrs. Fred Fox (Alma) of Geneva; and four grandchildren, Steve and Cindy Heath and Stan and Doug Dowdy. She was a faithful member of the United Methodist church and especially enjoyed participating in her circle activities. Until the death of her husband, she was an active member of the Geneva Grange. Before ill health forced her to leave the farm, she took great pride in her garden, yard and farm activities. For the past two and one-half years, she has made her home at Heritage of Geneva. Funeral services were conducted at Farmer & Son funeral home in Geneva on Monday, July 16, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James O. Eikenberry of the Carleton Bethel Church of the Brethren officiating. Mrs. Norval Lomax of Geneva played organ selections. Pallbearers were grandsons, Steve Heath and Stan Dowdy; nephews Charles and Irvin Miller, Dean and Ronald Heath.
