She was born in Oldenburg, Germany, Mrach (sic) 12th, 1873. In her 19th year she came to America, having shortly before been married to John D. Eilers. She reached the age... Read More	The Nelson Gazette (Nelson, NE), Thursday, April 16, 1925; pg. 4 Charlotte Sophia Eilers passed away on Good Friday morning at her home near Nelson. She was born in Oldenburg, Germany, Mrach (sic) 12th, 1873. In her 19th year she came to America, having shortly before been married to John D. Eilers. She came to live in Saline county (sic), Nebraska, first; but after a brief year made her home near Nelson. Here she spent the best of her days. The thirty years of married life was extremely happy. She reached the age of 52 years, 29 days. Those that mourn her loss, are: the bereaved husband, the aged mother, Mrs. S. Kueper (sic) aged 83 years, two brothers, Mr. D. Kuper and Mr. F. Kuper of Nelson and Superior respectively; two sisters, Minnie Harz of Linn, Kansas, and Mrs. Helen Landon, Mansfield, Ohio; besides the five children: Mrs. M. Grummert, Superior; Mrs. Hattie Bargen, Nelson; Mrs. Erna Hinz, Mr. Otto Eilers, and Elsie at home. Interment was made on Easter Day in the Lutheran cemetery at Smyrna, after the services conducted by the pastor, Rev. P.E. Stolz. CARD OF THANKS.
