She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton, and was a housekeeper for Rev. Albert Goetzman at St. John's Church from 1944 until his death in 1982. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton, and was a housekeeper for Rev. Albert Goetzman at St. John's Church from 1944 until his death in 1982. She received the Benemerenti Medal from the Vatican, Sept, 25, 1982, for her services to the church. She moved to the Kensington on Aug. 9, 1989. She was also a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of St. John's Catholic Church.
