She married Joseph H. Pomberg, Dec. 27, 1938, at St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton. He preceded her in death March 1, 1974. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of the Houghton area. She was retired from the Experian Co., Mount Pleasant. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton and the Altar and Rosary Society of St. John's. She is survived by two sons, John A. (wife Diane) Pomberg and Frank Pomberg, all of Houghton; two daughters, Phyllis Pomberg, Fort Madison and Martha Gillett (husband Dan), LaHarpe, Ill.; and six grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one son, two brothers, one infant brother and four sisters. Visitation will begin after 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 9, at St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton, where a Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and a Christian Vigil Service will be held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, at St. John's Catholic Church, Houghton, with Rev. Dennis Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. A memorial is being established. Link Funeral Home, West Point, is in charge of arrangements.
