Description	:	Clinton Furgerson Wineland I don't have many memories of the Natoma Winelands as we called them. (Great Uncle Clint and Great Aunt Mary). I have a faint memory of being in their home one time. I knew of them, about them, but never really knew them. Uncle Clint ran a livery stable in the early years. I don't know what he did after cars took the place of horses. I know Uncle Clint died suddenly of a heart attack. Someone said he was sitting and talking and never finished his sentence. My Dad said when they were back in Ohio in 1933, that the Great-Great Uncle Will Wineland (John's 1832, brother) died the same way, when he was out at the car telling the Wineland's goodbye. My Dad also died suddenly of a heart attack. It must run in the family. I never knew Clint Wineland children: Eugene, Mattie, Rhoda, Jane and Jeanette Elizabeth. They were all older than I. Eugene still has descendants in Natoma and Salina. The girls and their families are scattered out of the state of Kansas. Great Aunt Mary lived to be 103. I don't remember going to Natoma very often while I was growing up. Taken from the writings of Wava Wineland Nelson.
