Crabb, 70, died early Sunday morning from a heart attack at her home, 1109 Topeka Boulevard. She was born in Clarinda, Iowa, in 1868, and was the oldest of a family of fifteen children. Crabb, wife of Dr. John A. Crabb, 70, died early Sunday morning from a heart attack at her home, 1109 Topeka Boulevard. She was born in Clarinda, Iowa, in 1868, and was the oldest of a family of fifteen children. She came to Smith County in 1872 and endured the hardships of pioneer life in Western Kansas. In 1903 she came to Topeka and has resided here ever since. Mrs. Crabb was a member of the Central Congregational Church for thirty-six years and has been active in the various church organizations. She earned credits of $1,000 by her work in the Woman's Club which entitled her to a life membership. She was also a member of the Y.W.C.A. Besides her husband, Mrs. Crabb is survived by two sons, Ray J. and F. Herbert, and one daughter, Emma B. Crabb, all of Topeka. Five brothers: Harry Brown of Almena, Kan.; Frank Brown, Ernest Brown, Lee Brown, all of Smith County, Kansas; John Brown, of Neosho, Mo., and three sisters: Mrs. Harve Blair, Neosho, MO.; Mrs. Austin Spurrier, Burr Oak, Kan.; Mrs. Pearl Delka, Smith County, Kansas. There are two grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock, Wednesday morning from the central Congregational Church. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the residence, 1109 Topeka Boulevard, between the hours of 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon until 9 o'clock Tuesday evening.
