Description	:	Delphos Republican June 26, 1931 News of the death of Mrs. A.Q. Holbert, which occurred in a local hospital early Saturday morning, came as a shock to her many friends in this vicinity. Mrs. Holbert entered the hospital for operation on Wednesday, and has been getting along fine until Friday evening, when her heart began to fail. Death resulted at 5:30 Saturday morning. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Bethel Church, south of Concordia, conducted by Rev. Ralph Holt of the United Brethren Church. Interment was made in the Bethel Cemetery. Cynthia Colton was born in Blairstown, Ia., Sept. 8, 1781 (sic), and was 59 years of age at her death. The family, for many years made their home on a farm south of Concordia, where she made many friends who were grieved to learn of her death. She is survived by her husband and three children. Fred Holbert, Mrs. Lotta Johnson and Miss Maggie Holbert; and the following brothers and sisters: James Colton and Mrs. Nell Throckmorton of Delphos; Mrs. Lulu Grinage, Mrs. Adelia Bates, Edward Colton and Lester Colton of Glasco; Mrs. Eva Mantz of Norton; and Lawrence Colton and George Colton of Los Angeles.
