Description	:	The Creighton News 21 Jan 1965 Funeral services for Mrs. Lester Withee, 55, of Orchard, were conducted Saturday afternoon at the EUB Church in Orchard. Burial was in the Withee family plot at Orchard. Mrs. Withee died Thursday at Antelope Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since Jan. 2. Dagne Elene Jorgensen was born, Nov. 26, 1909 on a farm near Winnetoon, the daughter of H.P. and Christina Jorgensen. The family later moved to Creighton, where she lived until her marriage. Dagne Elene Jorgensen was born, Nov. 26, 1909 on a farm near Winnetoon, the daughter of H.P. and Christina Jorgensen. The family later moved to Creighton, where she lived until her marriage. She was a graduate of Creighton High School and taught south of Creighton in a school, where her aunt had been the teacher many years earlier. She was united in married to Lester Withee of Orchard, Nov. 27, 1929. She has lived in Orchard since that time. She was an active member of the EUB Church and the Order of Easter Star, correspondent for the Norfolk Daily News and active in community affairs. Surviving are his husband; two sons, James, superintendent of schools at Laurel and Kenneth, science instructor at Broken Bow; a daughter, Jan, attending Wayne State College; three grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Gus Kiihne of Hooper and two brothers, Stan of Cincinnati, O and Ken of Dakota City. ********************************************
