Description	:	DEATHS Daisy A. (Bearce) Thompson, 90, of Horton died on March 30, 1996 at the Horton Community Hospital in Horton, Kansas. She had worked at the Cozy Cafe Restaurant in Fairview for 16 years. She was born on July 31, 1905 at Humboldt, Nebraska, the daughter of William Polk Young and Lydia Ann Hampton. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Horton, and a former member of the Delaware Baptist Church in Fairview, Kansas, as well as a member of the Horton Senior Citizens. She then married Frank Thompson on May 18, 1983 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Horton, Kansas. Survivors include her husband, Frank Thompson, of Horton, a sister, Mag Nixon, of Perris, California; two nieces, Susan Gordon and Evelyn Shoemaker, both of Horton; two nephews, Marvin Young of Quenomo, Kansas and Walt Young of Everest, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton on Tuesday, April 2, 1996 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Hiawatha, Kansas. -From page 2 of the Mon.
