Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, Jan 6, 1928 - pg 1 Daniel F. Organ Passes Away ---- Daniel F. Organ was born near Virden, Ill., October 5, 1857, and passed away at his house in Edgar, Nebraska, January 4th, 1928 at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 29 days. He grew to manhood and was converted and joined the Baptist Church at Virden, Illinois. He came to Edgar in 1892 and engaged in farming four miles northwest of Edgar until late years when he moved to Edgar and was engaged in the Implement business and assisted in the Cottle Grocery store. Mr. Organ was a quiet, unassuming man, was well liked for his sterling qualities and his passing is a great loss to his family as well as a host of friends. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. and Woodman lodges. He had led an active life until last August when he was taken * with a malignant disease from which he could obtain no relief due to his advanced age. The mothers of his children preceded him in death. He was married in 1900 to Mrs. Lillie Beaver, who was a teacher in the Edgar schools, who survives him, also a stepdaughter, Mrs. Stanley Dubols of Kansas City. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, four sons and one daughter, Edgar and Mrs. Elsie Sugden of Edgar, Lester of Leavenworth, Kansas, Will and Earl of Edgar and thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild and two brothers, A. E. of Mattoon, Ill., and G. A. of Girard, Ill. Funeral services will be held from the M. E. Church this (Friday) afternoon at two-thirty conducted by Rev Johnson, pastor of the church.
