Read More	Mother's Maiden Name: Hall David Eugene Delair Sr., 80, of Salinas, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018. He was born on March 3, 1938 in Salinas, California. David Delair loved the lord, church, family and friends. He helped anyone who needed help, he helped build Calvary Assembly of God Church. Also helped move family and friends across different states. He was involved in Royal Rangers, Youth Groups and Prime Timers. David started working in sheet metal and aircraft parts in Pasadena, CA for 2 years then moved back to Salinas to work for the Monterey County Road Department as a Heavy Equipment Crane Operator for 20 years as well as working at nights at Skyview Drive Thru Theater for 10 years. His last job was working for Salinas Mosquito Abatement as a Heavy Crane Operator for 21 years. David’s passing was sudden and will be missed while his memory will always be treasured. David is survived by his first wife Shirley Elder. He is also survived by his Son’s and spouses, David Jr (Sue Turney), John (Cindy), and Michael (Jaime). Grandchildren, Brian, Christopher, Rebecca, Stephen, Elizabeth, Sarah, Josh and Hanna. Great grandchildren, Jason, Colton, Lila and Hunter. David died on Mother’s Day and was precede in death by, Jennie his wife of 34 years, his mother and father, his brothers William and Victor and his sisters Jane and Patty Visitation will be held 2:00pm to 6:00pm Friday, June 1, 2018 at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal Street, Salinas, CA 93901 Funeral Service will be held 11:00am Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Alta Vista Mortuary, 41 East Alisal Street, Salinas, CA 93901 Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott Street, Salinas, CA 93901.
