HENRY LAID TO REST The death or Mrs. Albert Henry occurred on Thursday of last week at 10:30 p. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Kottwitz near, Blue Hill, fol1owing a heart attack. Mrs. Henry had been seriously ill about eight weeks ago but had recovered sufficiently to be up and about and was in town during the afternoon of Thursday. That night shortly after the family had retired, Mrs. Henry called to them that she was not feeling well and medical aid was summoned but all help failed and she passed to her reward. Della Mackey was born near Centerville, Illinois August 10, 1855. At the time of her death she was 77 years and 3 months of age. She was united in marriage to Albert Henry on April 20, 1876 and over fifty years they shared the experiences of life together. Since the death of her husband on October 24, 1926, she has made her home with her daughters Mrs. John James of Hastings and Mrs. Walter Kottwitz of Blue Hill. Both Mr. and Mrs. Henry were member of the Methodist church, she having united with the church when 22 years of age and transferred her membership to Blue Hill in 1886. From the point of membership Mrs. Henry was one of the two oldest members of this church whose names appear on the present record. The fact that at least four of the children of the family have had their names on the record here is conclusive evidence of the faithfulness and consistency of the 1ives of the parents. Mr. and Mrs. Henry were the parents of nine children; three of whom passed to the other life in their childhood. The living are Mrs. Maggie James of Hastings, Earl of Oregon, Clarence of Oconto, Nebr., Roy of Kansas City, Mrs. Myrtle Kottwitz of Blue Hill and Ernest of Haxtun, Colo. These, with eighteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one brother, C. L. Mackey of Illinois and a great number of friends to mourn her departure. With the exception of Earl Henry of Oregon, all the children present at the funeral. The funeral was conducted from the home to the Methodist church in Blue Hill where the services were conducted at 3 o’clock Sunday afternoon, the pastor, Rev. R.H. Carr officiating. The music was furnished by a quartet composed of Mrs. P.J. Merten, Mrs. Ed Schwentker, Byron Vaughan and Lyle Griffith, with Mrs. Byron Vaughan as accompanist. The Pallbearers were J.A. Lemming, James McClure, John Magner, C.A. Woods, E.C. Robertson and J. I. Beal. Burial was in the Blue Hill cemetery.
