Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church in Maskell, with the Rev. Randy Rasmussen officiating. Burial will be in Maskell Cemetery. Donna was born Nov. 18, 1927, in Maskell, the daughter of Neal and Nora (Johnson) Maskell. She graduated from Maskell High School in May 1945. She then attended Edwards Business Institute in Sioux City. From 1946 to 1948, she was employed with Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Company in Sioux City. After that office closed, she worked for Joe Morten Insurance Agency in South Sioux City for five years. In 1953, she moved to Portland, Ore., where she was employed with Jack Neer Insurance Adjusting Company for three years. Beginning in August 1956, she was a civilian employee of the U.S. Army at its headquarters in Heidelberg, Germany. During those years in Europe, she visited 14 countries including three trips behind the "Iron Curtain." She returned to the United States in September 1959. From January 1960 to 1981, she worked for the Buell and Winter Engineering Company in Sioux City. When that company was sold, she returned to work at Joe Morten Insurance Agency until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church in Sioux City and Esther Circle at the church. Survivors include a sister and her husband, Marcia and Stewart Rustwick of Sioux City; a sister-in-law, Kay Maskell of Maskell; five nephews; and four nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister and her husband, Bonnie and Allan Hagen; and a brother, Wilson Maskell.
