(Messer) Walls. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a truck driver for Pamida, Inc. for 20 years retiring in 1989. Walls Sr., 78, Omaha, formerly of Council Bluffs, died Feb. 25, at Alegent Health Bergan Mercy Medical Center, Omaha. Dorrance was born Sept. 30, 1927 in Missouri Valley to Walter S. and Hazel M. Dorrance was a member of First Christian Church and was an avid bowler, golfer and OU Sooner fan. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dorrance Wayne Walls, Jr.; and brother, Roger W. Walls. Survivors include: his wife Marilyn V. (Nightser) Walls, Omaha; daughter, Patty McElderry and her husband, Ted, Council Bluffs; Diane Williams, Omaha; sons, Gary Walls and his wife, Bonnie; and Steven Walls and his wife, Melody, all of Omaha; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Norma Jean Sellers and her husband, Jack, Council Bluffs; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. Funeral Services were held March 1 at the First Christian Church, Council Bluffs, Pastor David Erickson, officiant. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Missouri Valley, with a luncheon following at the church.
