Funeral services were held Saturday Feb. 25, 1989 at 1:30 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Ashley with Rev. Gary Bertsch officiating. Edward Lieske, son of Gustave and Martha nee (Henke) Lieske was born Dec. 29, 1926 in McIntosh County near Ashley. He grew up in this area and attended grade school. He was farmer all of his life. Pallbearers were Hugo Krueger, Mike Siegler, Clifford Reuther, Kenneth Weszner, Lenhard Henke and Art Henke. Burial was in Zion 11 Lutheran Cemetery rural Ashley, ND under the direction of Holte funeral Homes, Inc., Ashley, ND.
