Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Lieske died March 22, 1977 at Wishek. Having been ill for 10 days. She was the daughter of John and Katherine nee (Bich) Henke and was born Dec. 17, 1894 in McIntosh County. On Jan. 5, 1921 she was married to Gustave Lieske at Ashley. John of Renton Washington, Mrs. Wenatha (John) Siegler of Aberdeen, SD, Mrs. Lorretta (Peter) Cherinko of San Diego, California and Mrs. Esther (Lloyd) Krueger of Fredonia. Seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Her brothers are Simon Henke of Ashley and Fred Henke of Jamestown, ND. Two children, seven half-brothers and sisters, five brothers and six sisters preceded her in death. Pallbearers at the funeral service were Marvin Schneider, Mathias Schock, J.F. Weszner, Kenneth Weszner, Clifford Bertsch and Hugo Krueger. Nickish Funeral Home of Wishek was in charge of funeral arrangements.
