Description	:	Reuben Lieske was born Dec. 15, 1921 in rural McIntosh County, the son of Gustave and Martha nee (Henke) Lieske. He grew up in this area and received his education there. After school he farmed with his family and brothers until he retired in 1983 and moved to Ashley. He was a member of the Coldwater Wildlife Club. Two brothers survive him, Benjamin of Ashley and John of Renton, Washington. Read More	Reuben Lieske was born Dec. 15, 1921 in rural McIntosh County, the son of Gustave and Martha nee (Henke) Lieske. He grew up in this area and received his education there. After school he farmed with his family and brothers until he retired in 1983 and moved to Ashley. He was a member of the Coldwater Wildlife Club. Two brothers survive him, Benjamin of Ashley and John of Renton, Washington. Three sisters Mrs. John (Wanetta) Siegler of Aberdeen, SD, Mrs. Peter (Loretta) Cherinko of California and Mrs. Lloyd (Esther) Krueger of Fredonia. His parents and one brother preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Ashley. He died Thursday June 21, 1990 at the Ashley Medical Center, at the age of 68. Rev. Martin Simmons officiated at the service with burial in the Zion 11 Lutheran Cemetery rural Fredonia. Casketbearers were Gottlieb Strobel, Mike Siegler, Marvin Schock, Eddie Heinrich, Fred Weszner and Hugo Krueger.
