Mr. Rogers had been in failing health the last three years, his death resulting from complications. The body is at the Huffman Funeral Home, awaiting completion of arrangements. Mr. Rogers had been in failing health the last three years, his death resulting from complications. The body is at the Huffman Funeral Home, awaiting completion of arrangements. Since retiring from his farm in the Beulah district in 1921, Mr. Rogers had lived in his home, 1121 North Adams Street. He was born Oct. 25, 1872, at Carroll. His mother died when he was an infant. His father, who lived to be 92 years old, passed away in Omaha. Mr. Rogers attended Iowa State College, Ames, and Simpson College, Indianola. He was married Oct. 20, 1909, to Harriet B. Wills at the home of her parents southwest of Carroll. She preceded him in death. Mr. Rogers, a brother-in-law of T.B. Wills of Carroll, is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Caroline Sterner, Omaha; Mrs. Anna Hanby, Spirit Lake, and Mrs. Elizabeth Kelly, Omaha, and one brother, Everett M. Rogers, Carroll. One brother, Fredric Henry Rogers of Cumberland, and two sisters, Mrs. Honor Sterner and Mrs. Ida Freed of Omaha, are deceased. Mr. Rogers was a member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge and all its branches.
