Description	:	THE DEATH OF ELIZA A PEAK Mrs. Eliza Peak, the highly esteemed wife of Morris Peak, one of the best known citizens of Lauramie Township, died on Friday at her home three miles south of Conroe. She had been an invalid for years, and her death was caused by a complication of diseases. She was 67 years old, and was born and reared in Lauramie Township. Read More	THE DEATH OF ELIZA A PEAK Mrs. Eliza Peak, the highly esteemed wife of Morris Peak, one of the best known citizens of Lauramie Township, died on Friday at her home three miles south of Conroe. She had been an invalid for years, and her death was caused by a complication of diseases. She was 67 years old, and was born and reared in Lauramie Township. Her maiden name was Eliza Ellis, and she was a daughter of Thomas and Eliza Stoner Ellis. She was married to Mr. Peak on May 7, 1857. One daughter, Mrs. William Irons, and one son, Porter Peak, together with the husband, are the surviving members of the family. Mrs. Peak was a woman of noble character, and was proverbial for her generosity and hospitality. Her home was always open to her friends, and her benevolent spirit prompted her to perform many kind acts. The funeral was conducted on Saturday afternoon at 1"20 o’clock and the interment was made in the Conroe Cemetery.
