Description	:	Elsie Beierle, 80, of Omaha, formerly of Columbus, Nebraska, died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 4, 2010, at 10:30 AM at St. Luke's United Church of Christ with Pastor Chris McArdle officiating. Interment will be in the Columbus Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home and continue on Monday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. Elsie was born March 8, 1930, in Creston, Nebraska, to Walter and Rose (Schacher) Kiuntke. She attended rural Platte County grade school and Kramer High School. On October 13, 1953, Elsie was united in marriage to Joseph Mazuch at St. John's Lutheran Church in Leigh, Nebraska. Joseph passed away in 1965 and on January 28, 1983, Elsie married Chester Beierle at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Columbus. Elsie worked at Scotts Dime Store, Columbus Laundry, Pawnee Chief Cafe, Dale Electronics, and retired from Torin Manufacturing. Elsie enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching game shows, feeding the birds - especially the cardinals, and especially spending time with her family. Elsie is survived by: Daughter - Lila Mazuch of Omaha, NE Daughter - Linda Beierle of Aurora, NE Daughter - Paula Del Rosario of Columbus, NE Daughter - Debbie (Fred) Krumland of Columbus, NE Daughter - Anita Ethridge of Omaha, NE 7 Grandchildren 14 Great Grandchildren Sisters-in-law - Fern Kiuntke and Veronica Kiuntke both of Columbus, NE Brother-in-law - Darwin Andersen of Council Bluffs, IA Numerous nieces and nephews Elsie was preceded in death by: Parents - Walter and Rose Kiuntke Husbands - Joseph Mazuch and Chester Beierle Son-in-law - Eugene Beierle Granddaughter - Brandy Del Rosario Sisters - Mila Andersen, Florence Leick, and Clara Knopick Brothers - Walter and Norman Kiuntke
