Description	:	Eunice Henrietta Lyons was born to Zavin Ireland and Sarah Morford Ireland February 25, 1897, on a farm in Republic County, Kansas. She passed away July 25, 1980, at the Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings, Nebraska, at the age of 83 years and 5 months. On December 26, 1917, Eunice was united in marriage to Marion Lyons at her parents home in Republic, Kansas. To this union 10 children were born. She was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband, Marion; two sons, Loren and Marion, Jr.; two brothers, Clarence as an infant and Howard ireland; five sisters, Viva and Lula Ireland, both as infants, Effie Hazen, Aletha Carpenter and Olive Edwards; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Eunice was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all. Those left to mourn her passing are her children, Darlene (Mrs. Eugene Ginn) of Blue Hill, Nebraska, Mrs. Theda Stolley of Glenvil, Nebraska, Darrel Lyons of Aumsville, Oregon, Ethlyn (Mrs. Jack Smith) of Republic, Kansas, Vynn Lyons of Rantoul, Illinois, Neil Lyons of Wenatchee, Washington, Velda (Mrs. Ivan Arnold) of Omak, Washington, and Gene Lyons of Mankato, Kansas, two sisters, Hattie Williams of Martin, South Dakota, and Mrs. Merle Redenbo of Belleville, Kansas, one brother, Oscar Ireland of Hebron, Nebraska; 54 grandchildren and 78 great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday, July 28, 1980, at 10 a.m. in the Megrue-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Superior. "How Great Thou Art" and "The Old Rugged Cross" was sung by Katie and Dwight Kahre. Carlita Price was the accompanist and organist. Rev. Dwight Kahre officiated. Casketbearers were Marty Lyons, Kenneth Lyons, Lindel Lyons, Marlin Smith, Robert Stolley and Lowell Ginn. Honorary casketbearers were Andy Arnold, Glen Arnold, Stacy Arnold, Eddie Arnold, Cliff Arnold, Ronald Lyons, Lynn Ginn, Lyle Ginn, Larry Ginn, Lennis Ginn, Leon Ginn, Tom Smith, Kent Smith, Delbert Lyons, Steve Lyons, Michael Lyons, Roy Gene Lyons, Jr., Lawrence Stolley, Lloyd Stolley, Tim Stolley, Jerry Stolley and Jim Stolley.
